The MTP September Dinkfest will be held from Saturday, September 21 to Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the More Than Pickleball (MTP) in Buford, GA.

The Facility

More Than Pickleball is an air-conditioned 9-court indoor pickleball facility with cushioned courts.

Brackets (Tentative)

• Saturday, September 21st

  • Men’s & Women’s Doubles all skill levels

• Sunday, September 22nd

  • Mixed Doubles all skill levels

  • *$400 Moneyball OPEN Bracket starts at 4:00 PM*

Please Note: Start time TBA, but can be as early as 8:00AM depending on the number of players on each bracket. Brackets may be cancelled or limited in size based on registration numbers. The Tournament Director may modify the competition format in the event of low numbers or other unforeseen delays and circumstances.

Format

Double Elimination Format OR Round Robin followed by single elimination medal round. After registrations are finalized, more detailed format and start times will be posted.

Registration Details

• Event Registration Policy: (IMPORTANT) Tournament Director may move your team to another bracket (lower or higher skill levels) based on your ratings, our knowledge, and for any other reasons. No refund will be allowed in case you are moved to a different bracket.

• Online payment via Pickleball Brackets.

• Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the tournament waiver, and paid all fees owing. Registration is limited in each event.

• If you are waitlisted for an event, you do not need to make a payment for that event. Should you be moved from the waitlist into the event, you must make your payment at that time.

Prize Money

• OPEN Bracket: Winning team of the Open bracket will receive $300 and the second place will receive $100. A minimum of 10 teams are required to guaranteed the prize money. Amount will be reduced if the bracket has less than 10 teams.

• OTHER brackets: also have cash prizes ranging from $50-$200, depending on the number of teams in the brackets. The final cash prize amount will be determined after registration is closed.

Event Start & Warm Ups

Competition courts will only be available for warm up 30-min prior to the start of the events each day. After the tournament has started, warm ups are restricted to the narrow warm-up court near the Front Desk. This helps us stay on schedule. Plan to arrive at the venue 45 - 60 minutes prior to the start of your event to allow time for check-in, warm-up and to prepare for your first match.
